Presbyterian Peace Fellowship Delegation

January 3 - 17, 2014

Interfaith Peace-Builders is proud to have worked with the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship (PPF) on this 28-person delegation. The purpose of this delegation, the 49th to make the trip with IFPB since 2001, is to educate American Presbyterians about the region, deepen their understanding of its conflicts, and expose them to grassroots movements for justice.

Updates from the delegation are posted on the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship's blog: Dispatches from the Holy Land

The Presbyterian Peace Fellowship shares these goals for the delegation on their blog:

The goal is to give them the opportunity to witness the Middle East first hand and listen to the people on the ground as they seek to live in peace in this complex part of the world.  Further, our hope and prayer is that our delegates come home and be vibrant members working with PPF and its goal of active peaceseeking.

Interfaith Peace-Builders believes in the power of eye-witness experience and transformation. Given the opportunity to speak directly with Israelis and Palestinians, delegates return to the United States better informed, more energized, and with a deeper understanding of the possibilities for true justice in the Middle East.
