Application for African Heritage Delegation

To be considered for the African Heritage Delegation, all applicants need to submit a program application. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and on a sliding pay-scale. Preference will be granted to community leaders, activists, artists and others who display a strong commitment to activism in their own communities. 

The deadline is August 1, 2012. . Apply early to ensure there is space for you and to be considered for scholarship help early. If you’ve missed the deadline, we might still be able to add you, but please contact us ASAP to see if this is a possibility.

Financial Aid for Delegations

For those with financial needs, we will offer scholarships to defray some delegation costs. The full cost of the delegation, including international airfare, is expected to be $3,400.  We anticipate offering individual scholarships for $500 - $1000 off the cost for those with need.   Apply now or call IFPB for more information.

Each delegates is expected to fund part of his/her trip. We have developed a fundraising packet to help prospective delegates raise money to cover their delegation expenses.
